How do you stay hidden during a surprise proposal?

I scout the location ahead of time and position myself at a distance with a long lens, so I'm blended into the scenery rather than standing next to you. Most partners never notice a photographer was there until they see the photos.

How do we coordinate timing without my partner suspecting anything?

We'll work out a simple text code or check-in plan ahead of time so I know when you're approaching the spot. Most proposers loop in a friend, sibling, or family member to help with timing on the day, and I coordinate quietly with them.

What's the difference between the three packages?

The Surprise Proposal Session covers just the moment itself, candidly and without your partner knowing. The Proposal + Posed Session includes that same candid coverage plus a relaxed posed session right after, with 40 edited photos. The Engagement Session is for couples who are already engaged and want a dedicated hour-long photo session together, also with 40 edited photos.

How far in advance should we book?

Proposals are often planned 2-4 weeks out, sometimes less. Reach out as soon as you have a date and location in mind and I'll do my best to accommodate the timeline, including last-minute requests when my schedule allows.

What happens if it rains?

We'll stay in touch in the days leading up and adjust if needed. Overcast skies often produce beautiful, soft light, so a cloudy day isn't a dealbreaker. For genuinely unworkable weather, we'll reschedule at no extra cost.
