Fall 2026 Sessions
Summer is over, but the best light of the year is just getting started. The crowds are gone, the beaches are quiet, and the late afternoon sun turns warm and low across the dunes and marshes.
If your senior portraits are still on the to do list, fall is the right time to get them done. Sessions are open now for the Class of 2027, and short notice requests are welcome. Send the dates that work for you and you'll hear back within 24 hours.
Book a Fall SessionSunset on the Cape is around 6:30 in early October and closer to 5:30 by the end of the month. Golden hour lands in the late afternoon, so most sessions fit right after school or on a weekend.
Once the summer traffic clears, places like Mayflower Beach and Chatham feel like a private location. More room to move, and nobody wandering through the background of your photos.
Many schools collect senior photos in the late fall and winter. Check your school's deadline and book with enough time to pick your favorites. Yearbook ready sizing is available on every edited photo.
Recent Senior Sessions
The Cape gives you two completely different looks. Bright beach sessions with sand, dune grass, and open water, or warm fall color with gardens, wildflowers, and golden hour light. With two locations in one session, you can have both.
How It Works
The best senior portraits happen when you forget you're being photographed. You're laughing at something real, walking somewhere you want to be, and wearing something that's actually you.
Cape Cod has some of the most beautiful natural settings on the East Coast. Beaches, dunes, marshes, and harbors give you backdrops that feel cinematic without trying too hard.
These photos end up everywhere: the yearbook, graduation announcements, the grad party display, Instagram, and your parents' walls. Every session is planned so you walk away with a set that works for all of it.
Fill out the form with the days that work for you, even if you're hoping for something soon. You'll get a reply within 24 hours.
Beach, dunes, harbor, marsh, or a place that means something to you. I'll suggest locations based on the light and the look you want.
About an hour on location with one or two outfits. Relaxed, guided, and never stiff.
Browse your proof gallery for two weeks and pick the ones you love. Each one is fully edited for $10.
What's Included
One hour on Cape Cod. Multiple looks. Photos that last well past graduation day.
One hour on location at a beach, dune, marsh, harbor, or a spot that's meaningful to you. We'll move through one or two locations for variety in your gallery.
Most seniors bring one or two outfits. Casual, dressed up, or whatever you want to be remembered in. I'll help you plan what photographs well.
Do your senior photos with your best friend, sibling, or significant other. You each get solo portraits plus shots together, and you both leave with a full personal gallery. See how the Duo works
You only pay for the photos you love, $10 each, fully edited and delivered in a private online gallery with high resolution downloads. Yearbook, Instagram, or framed on the wall, they'll look great everywhere.
The Duo Session
A session format most Cape Cod photographers don't offer
The Duo session is built for two seniors who want to do their portraits together, whether that's your best friend, your twin, or your significant other. You each get a full set of individual portraits in your own looks, plus photos of the two of you together.
It's one session, one booking, and two complete galleries. Everything you'd get from a solo session, with someone next to you who makes the whole thing easier.
The Duo is $500 for two seniors, which works out to $250 each. That's $50 less per person than booking two solo sessions.
Most people feel a little self conscious in front of a camera. With someone you're close to right there, the nerves fade fast and the genuine laughs show up on their own.
This isn't a group shoot where you share the frame the whole time. Each senior gets individual portraits and a personal proof gallery, and picks their own favorites.
Years from now, the shots of the two of you together are the ones you'll both go back to. They tell the story of senior year in a way solo portraits can't.
Pick the location, coordinate outfits, and choose a date that works for both of you. One booking covers the whole session.
Matching solo and together shots give you both content for Instagram, graduation announcements, and grad party displays.
Pricing
No packages, no minimum orders, and no surprises. A flat session rate and a per photo price for everything you love.
Most solo sessions run about an hour. Want more time? Just ask.
Your own solo portraits plus photos you share. A great fit if you'd feel more comfortable with a friend there.
Most seniors select 15 to 40 photos. Your gallery stays live for two weeks so you have plenty of time to choose.

Where We Shoot
Every session starts with picking the right place for the light and the look you want. These are a few favorites across the Cape, and bay side beaches are especially good for fall sunsets.
Wide tidal flats at low tide and open sunset views across Cape Cod Bay.
Soft dunes, beach grass, and long quiet stretches of sand once summer ends.
A long wooden boardwalk over the salt marsh at Gray's Beach, glowing in fall light.
Rolling dunes and marsh views that feel far away from everything.
Open sand and water on Nantucket Sound with plenty of room to move.
The lighthouse and the overlook above the beach, a classic Cape Cod backdrop.
Bay side sunsets on the flats and fishing boats in the harbor.
Wide open sand, marsh grass, and some of the best sunsets on the Lower Cape.
Have a spot that means something to you, like your school, your family's beach, or your town center? That works too. Senior portrait sessions are available across Cape Cod, including Dennis, Yarmouth, Barnstable, Hyannis, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Harwich, Brewster, Falmouth, Sandwich, Bourne, Mashpee, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown.

Popular senior portrait locations include Mayflower Beach and Chapin Beach in Dennis, the Bass Hole Boardwalk at Gray's Beach in Yarmouth, Sandy Neck in Barnstable, Kalmus Beach in Hyannis, the Chatham Lighthouse overlook, Skaket Beach and Rock Harbor in Orleans, and First Encounter Beach in Eastham. Golden hour is roughly the hour before sunset. On Cape Cod, sunset is around 6:30 PM in early October and around 5:30 PM by late October. After the clocks fall back on November 1, sunset moves to around 4:30 PM. That makes fall sessions easy to fit in right after school or on a weekend.
Wear something that feels like you. Solid colors, soft neutrals, and textures like knits and denim photograph well against fall beaches and marsh grass. It can be windy and cool near the water in the fall, so bring a layer. Most seniors bring one or two outfits, and Brendan is happy to help you plan before the session.
Yes. Yearbook ready sizing is available on every edited photo. Many schools have specific senior photo requirements and deadlines, so check with your school and include those details in your booking request so the session and delivery can be planned around them.
Yes. Many seniors bring a best friend for a few shots or include parents for a quick family portrait at the end. If you and a friend both want full individual galleries, the Duo session is the better fit. Mention it when you book so the time can be planned accordingly.
If conditions are truly unworkable, the session is rescheduled. Overcast skies give soft, flattering light and are not a reason to cancel. Some of the best sessions happen on partly cloudy days.
About Your Photographer
I'm a photographer, videographer, and content creator based in Dennis, with a background in film and media production. My work spans portraits, real estate, events, and brand content across Cape Cod.
I've photographed graduation sessions at Quinnipiac, UConn, and Monmouth University, working with hundreds of seniors who showed up a little nervous and left with photos they love. My approach is simple: create a comfortable session so the real you comes through.
Senior portraits are one of my favorite things to shoot. Helping seniors and their families celebrate this milestone is an honor, and I never take it lightly.
